Louise Agnes Wirsch Schulte, 101, formerly of Covington, KY, beloved wife of the late William Schulte and sister of the late Ray Wirsch, died peacefully in her home in Florence, KY on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Louise, a longtime resident of Covington and a former member of St. Benedict Parish, is survived by her six daughters: Eileen (Ken) Krebs, Kathleen Rottman, Sue Schulte, Carol (Jerry) Lux, Janet (Bruce) Roetker, and Nancy Schulte; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandchild. She loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Louise also enjoyed travelling with her family to state parks, Gatlinburg, TN, Florida, and various areas to view Autumn scenery. A favorite place was Clifty Falls State Park in Madison, IN where her family celebrated her 100th birthday on May 2, 2017, creating a wonderful memory. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 3:30 P.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 5:30 P.M. at St. Paul Church, 7301 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. The Interment will take place at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042, the Humane Society of USA, 1255 23rd Street, Northwest, Ste. 450 Washington, D.C. 20037 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. I will always remember the great times we spent at Aunt Louise's house playing in the basement or in the wading pool in the yard with Janet and Nancy. She was a great cook and homemaker. She was an inspiring mother who lost her husband too soon. I am sure she is with him in paradise.
