Randy Shelton, 49, passed away at his residence in Fort Wright, KY on Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was a Calibration Technician with Cincinnati Percision Instruments. Randy was an avid sports fan, especially U.K. Basketball and the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a dedicated Dixie Heights High School Drama Club Parent Volunteer and a past volunteer with the Fort Wright Fire Department. Randy was preceded in death by his mother: Charlotte J. Shelton and maternal grandfather: Clay R. Wells. He is survived by his daughter: Paige Shelton; son: Dylan Shelton; maternal grandmother: Helen Wells; sister: Kimberly (Preston) Cobb; 3 nieces: Taylor, Allison and Hanna and a large extended family. Visitation will be at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Committal Service and Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Randy worked here at Barnes Aerospace Monday through Thursday calibrating our gauges. Randy provided a great service and I consider him a friend. He will be missed. God bless you all during this difficult time.

Randy was such a valued team member here at CPI. He was so dedicated to his profession and to always helping anyone here with their work. He was a really great man and he will be missed greatly by his CPI family. My prayers go out to Paige and Dylan who I know Randy loved greatly. He spoke of them often and was very proud of them.

I knew Randy for a short time, but he was a great person, He always went out of his way to help me. He was a dedicated, hardworking, and i always looked forward to working with him.
