My deepest condolences to your family on Kathy's passing. I knew Kathy from our days attending Thomas More College together. Kathy always had a smile on her face and was glad to see you and to learn about what you had been doing. I know she had a life full of challenges but she seemed to do her best with them and she helped inspire others. She will be missed.

I send my love to the Taney family. Kathy was my friend for many years. We first met when I was in the first grade and taking the bus from Latonia to St. Mary's Cathedral, Covington. We then went to High School and College together, and remained friends since then. I'll never forget that Kathy knew I'd never had a birthday party so she threw my sweet sixteen party at her house. She always called me just to see if I needed to talk to someone. Kathy was humorous, thoughtful and generous and I loved her. She is at peace now.
