My former husband, Dr. Richard Hansen, forwarded the sad news of Philp's recent passing. When Dick and I were married and he was at NKU, the Koplows were very kind to both of us and I just wanted to convey my sympathy to you. Unfortunately, when Dick and I married and moved to Peoria, he was not granted tenure and I was caregiving my late mom (11 years tomorrow) and was forced to get a divorce due to distance...I know Dick and Phil were very close and it is very difficult to lose a loved one.... Please accept my deepest sympathy. I live in Peoria and miss Cinti/Kentucky but cannot travel the distance for his service. Know that thoughts are with you, pleae Respectfully, Carolyn Schuldt (Hansen at NKU) Peoria, IL Wisconsin native one who appreciates music (piano part.) and theater
