Mark Edward Sweeney, 61, of Elsmere KY passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was a self-employed auto repair shop owner. Mark was an avid Bengals and UK fan, a member of Covington Turners, enjoyed fast cars and he was known as a people person. Mark was preceded in death by his parents: Bob and Lee Ann Sweeney. He is survived by his wife: Christy Mullins Sweeney; children: Christopher Sweeney, Nicholas Sweeney, Zachary Sweeney and Chandler Sweeney; siblings: Steve Sweeney, Susan Sweeney and Jay Sweeney and grandchildren: Camiel, Raylan, Brady and Xavier. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 12:00 PM (Noon) until the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Interment and Chapel Service will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
