Nancy Lou Battaglia, 93, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. She was a homemaker and 1947 graduate of Holmes High School. Nancy raised 9 children and helped raise many of her grandchildren. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing scrabble and was famous for her Christmas poker games. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband: John Henry Battaglia and sons: Bruce Battaglia and Billy Battaglia. She is survived by her loving children: Michael (Chris) Battaglia, Marcia Milner, Johnny Battaglia, Shelly (Dave) Edmonds, Nancy (Tom) Dunning, Gina (Jay) Grove and Nikki (Andy) Benson; sister: Peggy VanMeter; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law: Nancy Bishop. Visitation will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
