I will miss you Uncle Dave. One of my favorite memory of you is when I was first learning to play baseball and you got me a baseball glove. I eat and write left handed so naturally you got me a lefthanded glove thinking I would play lefthanded. But I did not. I would catch the ball with my lefthanded glove then I would put the ball in my left hand throw the glove off and then throw the ball with my right hand. I threw and bat righthanded. That is in my memory forever. Prayers for Ruthie and David Love You! 🙏

It was an honor and pleasure to call Dave a friend! We worked together for many years and I always looked forward to his stories and what he was doing with his grandkids because he always loved to brag on them! He was a solid Christian man and I rejoice that he is enjoying the beauty of heaven! Way to live out your faith Dave! Love you brother!

I cherish the countless afternoons spent with Dave in the hot summer sun, engaged in conversations that would turn a simple one-hour yard work session into a three-hour affair. Those moments across the fence hold a special place in my heart. Dave was a fine man who dedicated himself to being a wonderful father and grandfather. I genuinely believe he succeeded in that endeavor. His absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate to have known him. To Dave's family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dad, Thank you. Thank you for the life lessons. Thank you for teaching me how to be a man. Thank you for the unwavering support and always being in my corner. Thank you for the friendship. Thank you for teaching me about pride and always looking at the bright side. But most of all, thank you for being the best "Paps" that a granddaughter could have. We will always carry you with us. Rest easy, Dad. I'll take it from here.

My Dad, Don, and I are so saddened by your loss. Dad has always spoke highly of him and all of the brothers that he served with in the 87th APS. He always had fun and laughed until he fell over with you all. I have met Dave once or twice and he treated me as a good friend because of my Dad. Sounds as if he lived a full and happy life. Remember he is with you always. Thanks, Jo Ellen
