Charles Douglas Bailey, 96, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption and retired as a Railroad Carman from CSX. Charles was a former Parish Council Member at St. Mary Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption and was an avid Reds and UK basketball fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles was preceded in death by his wife: Marie A. Bailey; parents: Boyd and Pearl Bailey and 4 siblings. He is survived by his children: Margo (Ken) Goodhew, Rita (Gene) Nichols and Douglas Bailey; sister: Faye (Raymond) Woodrum and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Mary Cathedral of the Basilica, 1140 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011.
