I have known the Packman for almost 4 decades when we first met playing a round of golf at Maketewah CC. I could not believe a guy who was built like an Offensive tackle for the Bengals could play a game that required soft hands and great touch. He was incredible and the friendship has continued from that first day. Great guy who was always fun to be around. BIGGER than life is an appropriate label. Needless to say, the Big Guy will be greatly missed by his amazing family and vast collection of buds. God Bless you Packy!!!!

When pilots pass, it is said that "this is the last checkride they must pass as they fly West". Dave offered so many stories and always made those around him feel a little better about themselves. From Jr High through High School, playing basketball, going to church together, talking about life, both back then and up to the present, I always felt good knowing Dave was a friend. Dave will be missed by those who knew him and myself. Rest in Peace, my friend. To Mary Anne and to his family, my true heartfelt sympathy to you. Dave you will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear that my dear friend has passed. No one from Connley’s called me. I talked to David a few days before we left for Florida. We told each other that we loved both of us. He was truly my friend. You are in our prayers Mary Anne and all your family.
