Larry Jay Lloyd, age 63 of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Wed., December 26, 2012 at his home. A loving Brother, Uncle and Cousin who was loved by all. He retired as a Janitor from Covington Catholic High School and was also a Bingo caller. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era who was very proud to serve his country. He loved life and was always around to help or just listen, he also loved children and would do anything he could to see that their needs were met. Larry is survived by his Sisters: Vivian Hall of Union, KY, Sherry Simpson of Erlanger, KY and Sheila Allen of Taylor Mill, KY; Brothers: Steve Lloyd of Florence, KY and Roger Lloyd of Ft. Thomas, KY; 17 Nieces & Nephews, 32 Great Nieces & Nephews and 8 Great Great Nieces & Nephews. The Visitation will be on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 10:30 AM until the Funeral at 12 NOON. An Honor Guard Service and Interment will follow at 2 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials to: Disabled American Veterans and/or Diocesan Children’s Home. i love you so much uncle larry. u was so amazing! i remember when we would play chess an checkers an drink pepsis together an just have aus a good old time when i was younger. glad u r no longer suffering. keep us under ur wing an watch over us. love u uncle larry always
Larry, the Covington Catholic community will miss you dearly. As an alum, I will always remember you for your kindness and dedication. You were always a friendly face, a always willing to lend a kid a few bucks for the bus or a snack. Rest in peace dear friend
