Joan Carter Moore, 68, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away at her home on Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was a long time member of Latonia Christian Church where she was active in multiple childrens ministries. Joan retired from Holmes High School where she served as their National Honor Society and Cheerleading Sponsor, she also taught at Southern Ohio College and she was an Honorable Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Roy and Ruby Carter and Sister: Joy Carter. Joan is survived by her Loving Husband: Paul Ray Moore; Daughters: Amy (Joe) Bulach and Kristen (Nick) Braun; Granddaughter: Emily Braun; Brother: Charles Carter; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY. Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Ray -We were shocked upon hearing of Joan’s passing. She was a great lady. I enjoyed working with her at Holmes. Being able to know Joan was indeed an honor. You hang in there. You and your girls are in our prayers.
