November 4, 1926 - July 31, 2016
Walter Moore, Jr., 89, of Winston Salem, NC and formerly of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and he retired from Kroger after 34 years and 3 months service. He was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, Tri-City Sportsman Club in Alexandria, KY and a life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association in Vandalia, OH. Walter was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Moore. He is survived by his daughters: Rose (Bob) Spella, Bonnie (late: Greg) Bromwell and Connie (Phong) Ngo; son: David (Alice) Moore; sister: Alice Proffet; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 9 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM.
