Jean C. Miller (maiden name Goebel), 63, of Covington, Kentucky died October 4, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky. She was born August 2, 1956 in Covington, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Goebel. She is the third child of seven children. On May 21, 1977, Jean married Edgar Lee Miller, who survives. Jean graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1974. She was a very social and loving woman. There was not a person she wouldn't help. She enjoyed showing her love through cooking and especially by baking cupcakes for family and friends. Jean was preceded by her oldest daughter, Emily Miller. She is survived by her two sets of twin children Michael Miller & Jennifer Roach (spouse: Clayton Roach) and Matthew Miller & Sarah Miller. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jayne, and is survived by her other five siblings: Joyce, James, John, Janet, and Judy. Nothing made her happier than being mawmaw to her eight grandchildren: Dillon, Alyssa, Elijah, Cayden, Jaylen, Ayden, Langston, and Annaliese. After all of her children had grown, she and Edgar took in two dogs, Tucker and Thor, and a cat, Luna, who became like children to them. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests to have donations made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation (https://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/donate). Their oldest daughter, Emily, had complications with Crohn's and since then the family has supported organizations that fund research to cure Crohn's disease.
