Carol and Family,
I was saddened to hear the news that Dave is no longer with us. I deeply regret that I will not physically be there this Saturday to pay tribute to him and his family but I will be there in spirit and love. It was my great pleasure to have known him for a short span in our lifetime. Many people pass through our lives but only a handful leave a lasting impression and more importantly they impact our lives. This is Dave’s legacy to me. I am proud to say that Dave was one of the handfuls of individuals that had an impact on my life. His dedication to the task at hand, usually basketball, instilled in me the hard work that it takes to be successful and for this lesson, I am eternally grateful. His effervescent smile always left one wondering if he was genuinely that happy or plotting something for the future. His smile taught me that even in the hardest of times; life is what we make it. We, all who knew him, were so fortunate to have him as a part of our lives. He will be sorely missed.
