Dear Kenny and Debbie,
I just heard about Ernie passing, and wanted to write and tell you how sorry I am for your loss. While I was part of the family, Ernie and Edith were both always so good to me, as were you both, and I’ve always been grateful for that. They were good people, and my life was better for having had them in it.
