Albert "Bruce" Truitt, Jr., 86, of Fort Wright, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. He earned his bachelor's degree from Morehead State University and went on to earn his master's degree from Xavier University. Bruce retired after 28 years of teaching history at Covington Holmes High School in Covington, KY. After retirement, Bruce worked for 15 years at Baker Hunt as a black and white photography teacher. He enjoyed photography and was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Mary Truitt, Sr., and wife: Carol B. Truitt. He leaves behind: Todd K. Ashcraft, whom he viewed as his son. Bruce also leaves behind and a host of friends. Services will be private per Bruce's request.
