Anna Lee Berry Buechel, 89, of Fort Thomas, KY, formerly of Newport, KY, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was a homemaker, a former decorator with Fantasy-n-Frosting in Newport, KY and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington, KY. Anna was a former member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church in Southgate KY where she was a member of their Altar Society and Over 50 Club. She loved to read, pray the Rosary and crochet. Anna crocheted many afghan blankets for members of her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Rich Buechel Sr. and great-grandson: Declan O'Brien. Anna is survived by her children: Cindy (Dave) Slocum, Rick (Terry) Buechel Jr., Jim (Laurie) Buechel, Steve (Missy) Buechel and Gerry (Cheryl) Buechel; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at St. Therese Church Roman Catholic Church, 11 Temple Place, Southgate, KY 41071. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Interment: St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
