Mrs. Dixon was about the smiling-est person I've ever met. She had such a pure heart, and loved her kids and grandkids to the moon and back. Whenever I was in her presence, she always had a smile, a joke, and so much joy to share with others. Heaven gained an angel, and we lost such a beautiful soul. I remember being at her house in high school and her being the same--happy, inviting, funny, and just wonderful to be around. Love to all of the family. Love, Vonda

This makes me beyond sad. Carol treated those of us who were friends of her kids just like we were part of the family and welcomed us sincerely and with no pretense. She was one of the very few truly nice people I have ever known.
