My heartfelt condolences to the family of Eleanor. I used to work with her and I always enjoyed her cheerful attitude and her great job performance. She was a very special person and I feel honored to have had her bless my life. She lived a long life but it always seems it is never long enough for us when a loved one departs. I know she will be missed.

Eleanor was a dear friend and former co worker. I was a caseworker in the Kenton County office for awhile with her. I must say she handled the phones in a professional manner. I trained Eleanor to read the screens for caseworkers actions on their cases. This saved time for caseworkers to spend time with their clients and not on phone all day. Eleanor read up on my home country Thailand after working with me. She was interested in culture and people. When I was NKY Chapter President of Kentucky Public Retires she supported me with her attending meetings and backing me up on topics needed to be voted on. I considered her a good friend. Last time I saw her was when Bill had a celebration of life. I will miss her.

Eleanor was a long time friend and former co worker. I shared the same birthday with her that was quite and honor. Eleanor called her co workers her kids since we were much younger. She was so easy going and had no trouble being friends with her younger co workers. When she retired the whole clerical unit had to take a time slot to do phones that Eleanor did by herself all day. We both loved reading and in years past shared with each other topics of books we might interest either one of us. The clerical team gave her a singing telegram when she retired called Mr. Feelgood. Eleanor enjoyed the silly funny telegram. When leaving state govt. to retire she did not want a farewell party. All the different teams and clerical made her a video for Eleanor when she left. After retiring from state government myself I met up with her at Kentucky Public Retirees meetings every month. So much fun to be around. Last time I saw Eleanor was at the celebration of life for her husband Bill. We had a nice visit. Eleanor is truly missed but now reunited with Bill.

Amy, Sending you prayers and thoughts of love and support upon the passing of your mother. I’m deeply saddened of the news and sorry that I’m not there with you. I’m so proud of you in how well you took care of her, I even remember all the things that Russ enjoyed doing and being so helpful for them whether it be cooking delicious food or putting up handrails to make their life easier and less stressful. Your mother was a wonderful person and she has surely moved on to a better place. Love and prayers to you and your family. Love, Kathy & Jeff
