Emma Frances Bonar, 95, of Elsmere, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was a dedicated homemaker, a member of the Florence Women’s Club and she loved to play Bingo. Emma was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Norman Bonar and sister: Helen Trankler. She is survived by her sisters: Virginia Trankler, Dorothy Otten and Patricia Fardo and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:30 A.M. I have many fond memories of being at the Trankler home when I was a classmate of Patty. Your mother was always welcoming and we had such a good time when I would stay overnight in the home in Caddo.
