Jane Elizabeth Feldhaus Wendeln, 95, of Covington, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. She was a member of St. Barbara Church in Erlanger, KY and a retired court clerk with Kenton County District Court. Jane was a long-time parishioner of Holy Cross Church where she was a former Altar Server and Eucharistic Minister. She was a former city clerk for Taylor Mill, KY and a former Winston Park volunteer life squad member. Jane was a former volunteer with St. Vincent De Paul, former Cub Scout den mother and former Girl Scout member and leader. She was a devout Catholic woman of faith who was always devoted to her family. Jane loved traveling and appreciated the simple things in life. She loved creating memories with her children. Jane was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Wendeln; parents: Joseph and Emma Feldhaus and brothers: Earl, Paul, Louis, Harold and Leo. She is survived by her children: Joseph Wendeln, James (Diane) Wendeln, Jerome (Tami) Wendeln and Juliane (Jeffrey) Wyatt; grandchildren: Amanda, Chanda, Jessica, Lauren, Cole and Jared and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Barbara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Road, Erlanger, KY 41018. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. I was sad to learn of Jane's passing. She was a sweet, compassionate, and lovely person. I have many fond memories of her. I will keep her children and grandchildren in my thoughts and prayers.

So grateful to have met “Grandma Jane” over past 4 years and see her commitment to faith, family and activity. Great role model for all who knew her and hope fond memories will be with all who loved her.

Wendlen family, I’m saddened by the loss of Mrs. Wendlen. One will never meet a sweeter person. I haven’t seen her in recent years but any time I did see her she always had a smile and asked how everyone was. My prayers and condolences to all of you.
