John Charles Poston, 84, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired inventory manager with Duke Energy. John was a member of St. Anthony Parish in Taylor Mill, KY. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed deep sea fishing. John was preceded in death by his parents: Tom and Ruth Poston and siblings: Tom (Lou) Poston and Larry (Sylvia) Poston. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Martha Ann Poston; children: Michelle (Randy) Combs, Christy Walker and Lori Poston; sister: Kathy Poston; grandchildren: Zach, Joey, Claire Elizabeth and Xander and several nieces and nephews. John generously donated his body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. There will be a celebration of John's life at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family.
