Kimberly "Kim" Ann Abner-Fulmer, 61, of Homosassa, FL, formerly of Covington, KY, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Kim was born to Ray and Mary Abner on November 7, 1961. She was a longtime employee of Fidelity Investments. Kim was a vivacious, fun-loving person with a heart of gold. She enjoyed scrapbooking, playing bingo, and spending time with her goddaughter, Charlie Ray. Kim was a member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary Post #203 for 37 years, a Kentucky Colonel, a Kentucky Admiral, a dedicated fundraiser for the American Heart Association and a proud member of the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police. A passionate animal lover, Kim was devoted to her sweet dog Toby and befriended animals everywhere she went. She never knew a stranger, and when anyone needed anything, she was the first to help. Kim lit up every room, and brought joy, love, and enthusiasm to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by brother: Jerry Abner and stepson: Jeremy Fulmer. Kim is survived by her husband: Bob; grandchildren: A.J. and Athena; sisters: Mary Jo (Greg) Donnelly, Tina (Nick) Rengering, Pamela (Tony) Robinson, and brother: Bill (Teresa) Abner. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the American Legion Post #203 Auxiliary Service at 11:50 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY is serving the family.
