Jean Mitchell, 85, of Latonia, KY passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Rosedale Green Nursing Home in Latonia, KY. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Covington, KY, Happy Loafers, United Methodist Women and a faithful supporter of the Humane Society. Jean loved ceramics, crafts, gardening, being around people and she was an avid Cincinnati Reds Fan. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Reverend Wilford and Christine Mitchell; Sister: Penny Donnelly; Brother: John Mitchell and Niece: Paula Hallman Boeldt. Jean is survived by her Sister: Juanita Hallman; Nieces and Nephews: Daryl (Rita) Hallman, Greg (Mary Jo) Donnelly, Keith Mitchell, Kim Allen, Mark (Lisa) Donnelly and Gary (Jenny) Hallman and Close Friends: Peg Owings and Darlene Compton. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Funeral Service will also be on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1229 Highway Avenue, Covington, KY 41011. Aunt Jean was one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met. Her smile and loving personality were contagious. The love she had for animals was so kind. She welcomed me into her family when I married Gary and made me feel so loved. I loved her so much and will miss her greatly.
