Margaret Frances Smith, 88, of Covington, KY, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. She was a member of the former Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Latonia, KY. Margaret Frances worked most of her life as a sales clerk with Schillito's and McAlpins. She was 1 of 10 children and was the first in her immediate family to complete high school. Margaret Frances loved to fish and travel. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. Margaret Frances was preceded in death by 9 siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years: Robert B. Smith and son: Robert Lynn Smith. Margaret Frances is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM (Noon) until the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. I always enjoyed talking to Ms. Frances when I came home to KY to visit. I have a fond memory of us having a makeover day at her house when I was a young girl. She was a sweet lady and she will be missed greatly.
