Condolences
Mrs Volpenhein was my first grade teacher. We called her Miss Marlene, and I thought the world of her. Not only was I lucky enough to have her as my teacher in 1st grade, I was also lucky enough to visit with her at our 50th grade school reunion! She was a good teacher – smart and patient and kind. I love learning thanks to her. Sincere condolences to her family. I’m sure she was a great mother and that you have many happy memories that I hope will eventually replace the sadness of her passing.
Sincerely,
Jane Grote May
