Life is amazing when you have people who make it happy, comfortable, and with faith. Randy was one of those people who, personally, filled my life with blessings. I also watched him over the years impact others with those same blessings. We were are so lucky to be under the same roof, sky, and world with Randy. Now, the angels up above are blessed to have him a part of their Heaven. Randy always spoke about his kids and how proud he was of them. He wanted the best for them. He worked VERY hard to provide for them, and honor them. I was very proud to call Randy my friend. Just on last Friday, June 8th, he spoke with me for a few brief minutes and said happy birthday and to enjoy it with my friends. He said because he didn’t have much friends at all. I told him that’s not true. That I am his friend, and that all of us here at CPI are his friends. He said he agreed and that’s why he loves working with us. I never knew those would be my last words with him. I looked up to Randy in many ways – his humbleness, hard work, character, humor, and of course how great of a father he is. He will be missed more than words can express.

Randy was such a valued team member here at CPI. He was so dedicated to his profession and to always helping anyone here with their work. He was a really great man and he will be missed greatly by his CPI family. My prayers go out to Paige and Dylan who I know Randy loved greatly. He spoke of them often and was very proud of them.
Randy worked here at Barnes Aerospace Monday through Thursday calibrating our gauges. Randy provided a great service and I consider him a friend. He will be missed. God bless you all during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy to the Shelton family. Paige and Dylan, we have watched you grow up into beautiful young adults. You have one of the best dad’s ever. He deeply, deeply loves you both. We really got to know and love Randy, because you guys and our daughter Skyler are buddies. I kept telling Randy we need to hit up Riverfront and get pizza again, with the neighborhood kids. I am sad because I put that off, too many times. Love ya Randy. I will remember your smile…rest easy.
