Rosemary Schlickman Menkhaus, age 94 of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Fri., Sept. 16, 2011 at her home. She was a Homemaker, Member of St. Anthony Church, She was a Member, Volunteer & Board Member and instrumental in the Founding of Redwood School. Past President of Holy Cross High School Boosters, Holy Cross St. Helens Society and a Kentucky Colonel. She is survived by her Husband of 65 years: Frank E. Menkhaus of Taylor Mill, KY, Daughter: Mary Jo Menkhaus of Taylor Mill, KY, Sons: David (Jane) Menkhaus of Ft. Wright, KY and Jim (Colleen) Menkhaus of Hebron, KY, Sister: Ruth Miller of Ft. Mitchell, KY and 2 Grandchildren: Breanne (Brian) Daugherty and Brett Menkhaus. The Visitation will be on Tues., Sept. 20, 2011 at St. Anthony Church 485 Grand Avenue Taylor Mill, KY 41015 from 4 PM until Mass of Christian Burial at 6 PM. The Committal Service will be on Wed., Sept. 21, 2011 at Mother of God Cemetery in Ft. Wright, KY at 10 AM. Memorials to: Redwood School & Rehabilitation Center 71 Orphanage Road Ft. Jimmy, my thoughts & prayers are with you! May God hold you in his arms so tight and give you peace in this difficult time. I only had the honor of meeting your Mom a few times that I helped out at the Redwood Derby. She was such a fun & sweet lady. I feel blessed to have had her touch my life.
