Roy Grant Culbertson, age 75 of Ryland Heights, KY passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida. He was a Railroad Engineer with L & N and CSX Railroad and Retired after 42 years of service. He was an Army Veteran. Roy is survived by his Wife of 51 years: Patsy Culbertson of Ryland Heights, KY; 3 Children: Jeff (Cathy) Culbertson of Union, KY, Sheri Culbertson of Vero Beach, FL and Scott (Nikki) Culbertson of Union, KY; Sisters: Wilma (Barry) Fielman of Raleigh, NC and Jane Mitchell of Bend, OR; 5 Grandchildren: Stephanie, Caleb, Sullivan, Christine and Madison. The Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 11 AM until the Funeral Service at 1 PM. We’re sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. Roy was a classmate of mine at Dixie Heights High School. He was a good friend and companion during those school years. Roy will be missed very much. Please accept our condolences and our prayers will be with you and your family.
