I am so sorry to hear of Tonya's passing. She was such a fighter. She was my softball buddy years ago. My sympathy to Kenny and her family.

God saw that Tonya was getting tired, A cure was not to be. So he put His arms around her and whispered, ”Come with Me.” With tearful eyes, we watched her suffer. And saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes ”the best” I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Tonya was an angel to me. Such a strong, positive and brave lady. I did her hair over the years and some of her stories from her hospital stays I couldn’t believe andI I would tell her she should write a book and she would laugh. Prayers to her family I know she will be missed so much.
